Today I had a melt down because the internet in the Hotel was still not working. After relocating to the business centre I finally got access and then had some operating issues hence yesterday’s post went up with Vancouver spelt incorrectly – anyway I am now sorted and ready to update you on today’s adventures.
So after I recovered from the technology issues (reminded me of work really – only joking!) we decided to take a bus tour of the city and see the sites – this was great. While we were touring around we had thought to go bike riding again around Stanley Park but instead changed to going out to visit Capilano Suspension Bridge and the surrounding area. This was great – I had forgotten that this would be a challenge for Norm (with his balance issues) but he managed well and even helped a very nervous French woman to get over the bridge as well. Once over the bridge there were numerous walks including treetop walks and valley walks. It was fantastic.
Once we crossed back over the bridge there was a cliff edge walk which Norm was not really interested in but I did it – and it was another great walk.
When we returned we went to the Harbour Centre to take in the 360 degree view of the city. It is very picturesque here.
We start our train adventure tomorrow at 7:00am and we are really looking forward to this.
So here are some shots from today and hopefully I will back tomorrow with more commentary! Bye W
